While staying with us at Mandalay Resort, conveniently wander on into our reception and we will be happy to book you onto one to the Busselton Jetty Tours for a Full day of Fun.


Walk the Jetty
During the summer hours of 8am to 6pm, and winter hours of 9am to 5pm, there is a small fee of $4 for those 17 years and over.  Outside of these hours, admission is free. A Jetty Day Pass gives you access to dive, fish, swim, walk or serenely sit and watch the world go by. Book your Jetty Day Pass and take the walk 1.841km out to sea along the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere.

The Jetty Train Ride
Sit back and relax while the driver takes you on a journey 1.7km across Geographe Bay along the heritage listed 152-year-old Busselton Jetty. The train departs the Interpretive Centre on the hour. The Jetty Train Ticket includes a return ticket and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Wheelchairs and walkers can be accommodated. Children under 3 years travel free if seated on an adult’s lap. The Train Tour is the great way to experience the Jetty.

The Underwater Observatory
Experience the natural wonders that lay beneath the Busselton Jetty. Book an Underwater Observatory Tour and descend 8m to the ocean floor via a spiral staircase into the observation chamber of eleven viewing windows. View more than 300 individual marine species in their natural habitat. The Tour includes return train trip and a 40-minute guided tour of the observatory with an experienced guide and takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to complete.

Interpretative Centre & Gift
Be sure to take the time to browse through the Interpretative Centre. The striking boat-shed style centre, built 50 metres offshore, has everything you will need for a day’s activities at the jetty. Drinks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, ice cream and snacks. Browse the unique and stylish giftware and homewares on display as well as souvenirs and mementos. There is also a selection of giftware created by local artisans and stunning furniture and home décor pieces crafted from recycled timber salvaged from the Jetty. Browse the Cultural Heritage Museum located within the Interpretive Centre. Entry is free and gives you a taste of the jetty’s rich history.
