Deja Moo in Cowtown this weekend!
An Udderly Legend-Dairy Country Fair
Fancy a frolic in a cow onesie at Deja Moo?
July is the month Cowaramup celebrates their beloved Friesian’s with a huge Cow Town Birthday Party called Deja Moo. It’s a wonderful extravaganza where locals and visitors come together for a day of cowabunga fun and frivolity. It’s not to be missed!! The party is on Saturday 8th July from 10am to 3pm & you’re invited to join in and get your MOO on!
Following on from the success of the Guinness World Record breaking Cow Muster and the Cowtown Cow Conga in previous years, this year’s Cowlympics is sure to be a hit with young & old. Willing Deja Moo participants will be given a passport and will mooooooove between a series of events which include Cow Jumps Over the Moon obstacle, Cattle Race, Milk Bottle Skittles & Cowpat Discus just to name a few.. The aim is to complete as many events as possible while having your passport stamped at each station to show your participation.
The town will also be alive with market stalls, bouncy castles, local food vans, bush fire brigade demonstrations, art exhibits and a mechanical bull if you feel like letting your inner cowboy/cowgirl out for a play! Millers will have some of their baby cows for patting and of course a selection of their delicious Millers Icecream on offer to tempt your tastebuds with. But wait there’s more!! Their annual Cow Rally Competition will be running for the month of July with a $1000 major prize up for grabs. Deja Moo Passports containing the questions are available from www.cowaramup.com.au and at participating businesses at the end of June.
If you think that this sounds like the perfect way to shake off the winter blues, it’s time to get moooooooving & book a winter getaway with us by phoning our freecall number 1800 248 231. We still have accommodation available during the July School Holidays so you too can make it down to Cowtown for all the action and excitement at Deja Moo on July 8th 2017.
Cowaramup is a 30 minute drive from Mandalay and there are many places to stop along the way including the cheese factories, chocolate companies & ice creameries to keep up with the dairy theme of the day.
Don’t forget to pack your cow onesie… See you there!!
