Q. What time is check in and check out?

Q. Can I have an Early Check in / Late Check Out?

Early check in’s and late check outs are subject to availability, please contact reception for details.

Q. Reception & Shop Opening Hours
A. 
The reception and shop are open from 8am to 8pm everyday, except Christmas Day when we are closed.

Q. Can we arrive after reception has closed?
A.
 Please contact reception on 9752 1328 if arriving after 8pm for our late check in procedure. Please be mindful of inhouse guest‘s if arriving after 8pm.

Q. Can I bring my Bike / e-bike / Skateboard / Scooter?
A. 
Mandalay allows all micro mobility devices (bikes, scooters, skateboards etc) including electric bikes and scooters. However, they all must abide by the walking pace speed limit within the grounds of Mandalay and must be put away when the sun sets.

Q. How do I qualify for the rebooking rate?
A. 
Rebooking rates are offered to guests who repeat the same reservation (accommodation style and equivalent dates) for the following year. Rebooking’s are not guaranteed. All rebooking’s are subject to Terms and Conditions and availability for future dates. Please enquire at reception for details.

Q. Do you have a restaurant?
A. 
 No, there is no restaurant at Mandalay Holiday Resort

Q. Do you have food trucks open each night?
A. 
Food trucks are subject to availability, as all food trucks are independantly owned and operated. Please check the Mandalay Happenings on our website for more details.

Q. Can we have an online food delivery during our stay?
A. 
Yes, you can have an online delivery to Mandalay. If it is the day of your arrival, the online delivery must be delivered AFTER your check in time (3pm for accommodation and Ensuite sites, 12pm for powered sites). You must be checked in and present to collect your delivery. Deliveries can not be held at reception or taken to your accommodation before your arrival.

Q. Can we have day visitors during our stay?
A. 
A limited number of day visitors can visit you while staying at Mandalay. All day visitors must register on their arrival. A charge per person will apply if your visitors are using the facilities.

Q. Can we have overnight visitors?
A. 
Overnight visitors must not exceed the maximum occupancy of your site or accommodation and additional charges will apply. Please contact Mandalay reception before your arrival to enquire if an overnight visitor is permitted.

Q. Do you allow private functions/gatherings or parties?
A. 
No, all Resort facilities are shared facilities and not available for Private or Group functions. No Parties allowed.

Q. Are the Glamping tents heated and air conditioned?
A. 
Our Glamping tents do include an electric fan heater, electric blanket on the king bed and a portable air conditioner. However, you are in a tent and exposed to all elements of camping.

Q. Is the accommodation serviced during our stay?
A. 
No, however an accommodation service can be arranged for guests who have a reservation longer than 8 nights.

Q. Can we use resort facilities before check-in and/or after check out?
A. 
Resort facilities are available for use after you have checked in and registered at reception. Once checked out (by 10am) you must vacate the premises (unless a late check out is previously organised with reception).

Q. Do you allow campfires?
A. 
There are designated fire pits near the games room and are only permitted for use at certain times of the year at Mandalay Holiday Resorts discretion. We do not allow personal fire pits at your site.         

Q. Do you have a Camp Kitchen?
A. 
Yes, the camp kitchen is for all guests to use with BBQ’s, ovens, hotplates, kettle, toaster, microwave, kitchen sinks, fridge, tables and chairs. BYO cutlery/crockery & pots and pans. There is no freezer in our camp kitchen. 

Q. Do you have a laundry?
A.
 We do have a laundry with coin-operated washing machine and dryers located in the park.

Q. Can I choose my site or chalet number?
A. 
Site/Accommodation numbers cannot be guaranteed. A request can be placed in your reservation and we do try our hardest to meet all requests, however this is not always possible.

Q. Can we have more than 1 car parked at our site or accommodation?
A. 
There is 1 car park per site/accommodation. Extra cars will be required to park in visitors parking outside of the park.

Q. Do you provide a dump point?
A.
 Mandalay has 2 dump points in the park for registered inhouse guests. For visitors not staying at Mandalay a charge does apply.

Q. Is smoking permitted within the park?
A.
 There is no smoking in the accommodation, common areas including BBQ areas, playgrounds and buildings. If you choose to smoke on your powered caravan or camping site, we ask that you please be respectful of our non-smoking guests around you.

Q. Do I need to book before I arrive?
A. 
We highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment and to secure your preferred accommodation or site.

Q. What is an ensuite site?
A. 
A powered site with dedicated bathroom facilities for your personal use. This does not include linen, you must supply your own towels.

Q. Do you have drive through sites?
A.
 Sometimes is it possible to drive through onto your site, however we do escort all guest to their site and help you to reverse onto the site.

Q. What are the quiet time hours?
A.
 Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am. All day visitors must vacate the park by 10pm.

Q. Is Mandalay affiliated with any membership/discount programs?
A.
 Currently Mandalay is affiliated with BIG4 as a partner park and a BIG4 member discount is only applied when booking through the BIG4 website.

Q. Do you have free WIFI?
A.
 Free WIFI is available throughout the Park. Please connect to Mandalay Resort WIFI on your device. Blackspots may occur throughout the park and in accommodation.

Q. Is Mandalay Pet Friendly?
A. From Mid March to November excluding April and September/October Holidays pets are allowed by prior arrangement. Pets are only permitted on Caravan and Camping sites, we do not allow pets in any of our accommodation.

Q. Travelling with Assistant animals
A. When making a booking, documentation showing that the assistance animal is qualified, accredited, and serving the person they are travelling with must be provided before arrival. During your stay at Mandalay Holiday Resort the assistance animal will be required to wear its jacket or other visible identification with branding from the organisation that qualified it, while in public spaces.
