Terms & Conditions

Booking Policy

  • Prices are subject to availability and fluctuations may occur. The day’s best available rate will be offered at time of booking. Once you have made a reservation, you have agreed to and are locked into the day’s best available rate and our Terms & Conditions.  
  • Your tariff is confirmed for the number of guests as per your reservation. Additional charges may apply for extra guests.  If you exceed the maximum number of people available for the style of accommodation, including infants, children and adults, your booking will be forfeited on arrival.
  • Minimum nights stays apply at all times of year. Once a booking is made, bookings can not be reduced below the minimum night stay applicable at the time of booking. We do not apply refunds for early departures. 
  • At check in an imprint of a valid credit card must be provided as security for any incidental costs; including but not limited to: damage associated with the room; any and all equipment hire and Pet Policy Bond.

Travel Insurance

  • We strongly advise travel insurance for all your holiday bookings to meet your personal requirements in respect to personal injury, illness, employment changes or weather conditions.

Cancellation Policy 

  • All reservations require a deposit to be paid at the time of the reservation. Without a deposit, we are unable to make you a reservation. Any changes to reservations or cancellations will incur an administration fee of $25.00. All cancellations must be made directly with the park in writing. Upon cancellation, monies paid can be credited to a client account for future stays. Any money transferred for future stays at the parks will only be valid for 12 months from the original reservation date. No credit or refund will be available for early departures or cancellations once arrived. A credit cannot be exchanged for a refund.

Standard 

  • Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the reservation date, will receive a refund of monies paid minus a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days from the reservation surrender the deposit. Any remaining monies can be refunded or applied to a client account.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation, surrender all monies paid.


School Holidays*, Long Weekends*

  • $50 Non-refundable booking fee applicable on all bookings.
  • Within 30 days of arrival the deposit, including non-refundable booking fee is forfeited in full
  • Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival and will be forfeited if cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival.

Full payment on booking. No refunds or changes to bookings are accepted.

Rebooking Rate Policy

At Mandalay Holiday Resort, we value your loyalty and strive to provide you with the best possible experience. Our rebooking rate policy is designed to reward guests who choose to rebook the same period of time in the same style of accommodation during their current stay. Please take note of the following terms and conditions:

  • Eligibility: The rebooking rate is only applicable to guests who choose to rebook for the same period of time in the same style of accommodation during their current stay. It is not transferable to other guests or applicable for date changes or changes of name.
  • Applicability: Guests must rebook for the exact same period of time and accommodation style to qualify for the rebooking rate. Any changes to the booking, such as date changes or accommodation type changes, will void the rebooking rate.
  • Cancellation Policy: The cancellation policy for rebooked stays remains as per the standard policy outlined in our terms and conditions. For bookings during school holidays or long weekends, the cancellation policy for this period of time will be applicable as per our terms and conditions.
  • Booking Process: To avail of the rebooking rate, guests must inform our reservation team during their current stay about their intention to rebook for the same period and accommodation style. Our team will assist you with the rebooking process and provide you with the applicable rate.
  • Validity: The rebooking rate is subject to availability and may not be available during peak periods or special events. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.
  • Non-transferable: The rebooking rate is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers unless explicitly stated.
  • Booking Confirmation: Rebooked stays are subject to confirmation based on availability at the time of rebooking. Confirmation will be provided by our reservation team once the rebooking process is complete.

By availing of the rebooking rate, guests agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined above. For any queries or assistance regarding our rebooking rate policy, please feel free to contact our reservation team.

3rd Party Bookings

Booking/cancellations policies for 3rd party bookings may vary depending on the specific website. Please check the booking conditions included in the terms and conditions of the booking website.

Leavers/Under 18’s Policy

  • Mandalay will not accept any bookings where all clients are under 18 years.
  • Mandalay do not accept ‘Schoolies/Leavers’ bookings.
  • We do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual ‘Schoolies’ Period.
  • In particular we do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of our families and guests during this period.
  • For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers for the period 22nd October to 17th December.
  • Mandalay advises if you still choose to book your accommodation with us and it turns out that you are school leavers, or you have school leavers in your party your booking will be cancelled and cancellation fees will be forfeited at the discretion of management.

Pet Policy 

Pets are allowed from Mid March to November by prior arrangement (excluding April School Holidays and September/October School Holidays).

Pets are only permitted on Caravan and Camping sites by prior arrangement, we do not allow pets in any of our accommodation.

We hope you have a great stay with your pet, and we ask that all pet owners adhere to our pet friendly rules:

  • Pet owners are to respect the Park and its guest and staff.
  • Keep your pet within the designated pet area at all times.
  • Do not leave your pet unattended or on your site alone at any time.
  • Consider other guests by keeping your pet quiet.
  • Pick up after your pet and leave the site clean for the next guest and pet.
  • Your pet must be on a short leash at all times no more than 2 metres in length.
  • No pets allowed in any buildings, reception, common areas, playgrounds, pools or oval as this is not in the designated pet area.
  • Pets staying on ensuite sites are not to go into the ensuite.
  • No pets to be taken into any accommodation at any time or onto the verandahs.
  • Please exercise your pet out of the park (there is a dog beach and park nearby).
  • No washing of pet’s bedding in laundry sinks, washing machines or ensuites.
  • Excellent dog wash at Busselton Prowash Car and Dog Wash, 18 Peel Tce, Busselton (behind McDonalds).
  • Management reserves the right to terminate the occupancy (no refunds) where breaches of pet rules occur.
  • All pets must be registered at time of booking and Pet Policy form completed on arrival.
