Exciting Future Project in 2027

We’re excited to share that Mandalay Holiday Resort will begin a major development in February 2027 to enhance our accommodation options and create a fresh new entrance to the resort.

This project includes:

• A refreshed entrance, plus a new Reception and shop at the front of the resort.
• Replacing Beach Cottages 1–6 and Chalets 26 & 27 with eight new two-storey Beach Houses (4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10–12). One Beach House will feature a fully accessible downstairs level.

Timing:
Site set-up and demolition will start in February 2027, with construction continuing through autumn and winter, aiming for completion in late September/October 2027.
The Beach Houses will be built off-site as modular units, then installed on site with landscaping and finishing to follow.
The front of the resort will be affected by construction works, but once inside the resort we envisage the impact will be minimal.
