At Mandalay, we built a dedicated Business Centre to help you balance work and play. So while the family is enjoying the resort, you can tick a few things off your to-do list before getting back to holiday mode.
The backstory: families working their way around WA
We built the Business Centre as a response to a Covid trend; young families travelling around WA in campervans and luxury RVs while working remotely. Thanks to the pandemic, city office workers were free to toil wherever their 4WD could take them – WiFi permitting.
We chatted to hundreds of guests about what they needed and wanted – quiet spaces, cutting edge technology and a business-appropriate backdrop that wouldn’t scream ‘holidays’ during video calls.
A workspace designed for travellers
Located within the resort, above Reception, our new Business Centre offers a professional, quiet and comfortable environment for guests who need to work.
The facility includes a board meeting-style conference room, a small meeting room, hot desks, and a large breakout lounge, giving you plenty of options depending on your needs.
Whether you’re responding to emails, attending a virtual meeting or hosting a workshop, you’ll find everything you need right here.
- Hot desks
Need somewhere quiet to work for a few hours? Our two hot desks are available exclusively for guest use and can be booked in hourly allocations, free of charge.
Each desk is equipped with a monitor, keyboard, mouse and docking station, allowing you to connect your own device and work comfortably. Complimentary WiFi is also available.
- Meeting room
For those requiring a little more privacy, our meeting room comfortably accommodates up to four people. Available in half-day bookings, the space is ideal for video calls, interviews, team catch-ups or small meetings.
The room features a central meeting table, seating for four and a wall-mounted display monitor with HDMI connectivity.
- Conference room
Hosting a larger meeting, workshop or conference? Our modern conference room can accommodate up to 30 people and is equipped with the latest technology to help your event run smoothly.
With plenty of natural light and views overlooking the pool area, it’s a refreshing alternative to a traditional conference venue.
- Breakout Lounge
Located downstairs, our breakout lounge provides a comfortable space to relax between meetings, catch up with colleagues or enjoy a coffee break. The space includes lounge seating, tables, a sink and fridge facilities.
If you’re in need of catering, The Kiosk @ Mandalay can provide a range of catering options to keep your team fuelled throughout the day.

As soon as the Business Centre opened we noticed something wonderful: family-friendly businesses started picking Mandalay for their meetings and events, so their employees could bring their loved ones and turn a corporate event into something memorable.
Freedom, flexibility, fun
One of the things guests love most about our Business Centre is the guilt-free flexibility it offers.
You can attend a meeting in the morning or answer a few emails after lunch, knowing your kids are having a brilliant time on the rainbow slide – you’re not holding up the holiday. Once work is done, you spend the afternoon together exploring Busselton, enjoying the beach opposite the resort and making memories.
