We have a busy time ahead with Resort upgrades and maintenance works which will take place during the winter months.

Firstly, we are excited to announce the “Kiosk @ Mandalay” is now OPEN! As we embark on this new journey, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as our team fine-tunes the operations of the new Kiosk. The Kiosk @ Mandalay will be located on the oval for you to purchase your morning coffee and breakfast from Wednesday to Monday, 7:30 am – 9:30 am, as well as Thursday and Friday evenings for dinner from 5:00 pm. Please check the Mandalay Happenings section of our website for other opening times or food trucks that may visit during your stay.

Contractor workers will be in and around the Resort during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, along with our wonderful maintenance team completing their own winter jobs list. On some days, there may be noise or disruption to certain areas of the park while these jobs take place. We do our best to ensure our impact on guests is minimal and will endeavour to allocate sites and chalets accordingly during this time.

Some key jobs during this month include:

• Spring cleaning and maintenance work in the Chalets.
• Painting the exterior of unoccupied chalets. You may see the painter working outside the chalet next door or around the park.
• Our Beach Cottages will be out of order for some of July / August for internal upgrades and maintenance.
• Repainting of the Ablution Blocks and Laundry internal walls and ceilings.
• Upgrading of TVs throughout the Resorts accommodation.
• Balustrading around the Business Centre veranda.
• Privacy screening around Superior 2-bedroom Spa Chalet 36
• The Busselton Water Corporation, located behind Mandalay’s property along Bussell Hwy, is completing upgrades to the water tanks. Unfortunately, there may be noise from the work on some days, affecting our guests who are on an ensuite sites or located at the rear of the Resort. 

Please note, exact dates of works are subject to last-minute changes due to weather and the availability of tradesmen.

This winter, our games room includes indoor toddler play areas for children 0-5 years, a pool table, a table tennis table, a gas fireplace, and on weekends, either AFL football or a movie on the Big Screen.

So far this winter we have already completed:

• Opening of our Business and Conference Centre.
• Launch of our Social Story and Acivity Booklet to help plan for your upcoming stay.
• Upgrading and replacement of pool decking around the waterslide pool.
• Maintenance to the Bathroom in Superior 2-bedroom Spa Chalet 36.
• Spring cleaning and maintenance work in the ensuite sites.
• Treelopping in and around the Resort.
• Redesign of some of our sites in the Resort.
• Roll out of new linen through out the Resorts accommodation.
• Installation of Shampoo / Conditioner and Soap dispensers in our accomodation and ensuites.
